Hello, DFB friends! We visited some Disney World Resort Hotels this week and we have a lot of updates!
Disney’s Contemporary Resort continues to be under construction, while the entrance of Disney’s Polynesian Resort is open again! Let’s get into it!
Let’s face it — when it comes to Disney World, you’re pretty much living on Disney World time.
That means you’re subject to Disney World’s schedule, meaning that you probably aren’t going to make any 2AM snack runs to 7-Eleven like you might do at home when you can’t sleep and you want some food. But there are SOME late-night dining options available at Disney World, maybe even more than you think.
This one is for all you OG Dis-nerds out there. There is nothing like going into your favorite park, hopping on your favorite ride, and being able to quote it word for word (in your head of course).Â
With Disney World’s 50th anniversary right around the corner, we got to thinking of all those endlessly quotable lines you encounter in the parks? You know, the ones STILL in your head as you’re leaving for the night? So please sit back, grab your favorite snack that reminds you of Disney and enjoy these phrases that ONLY true Disney Fans would understand. [Read more…]
We’ve been hunting down Halloween treats in Disney World lately, and we’ve found some pretty delicious ones!
So far, we’ve tried Haunted Mansion Chocolate Eclairs, a Halloween Milkshake that tastes like candy corn, and more! But the treats are still coming. We found a NEW themed dome cake at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort today and it features an obscure Disney character.
Calling all fellow cupcake lovers! Remember that Moana cupcake we told you about yesterday from Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Well…if you love Moana and cupcakes then you might be thrilled to know that there’s ANOTHER Moana cupcake also available at Disney’s Polynesian Resort right now, and this one is the official treat released in celebration of World Princess Week. We’ve been trying all kinds of new princess desserts (like the Belle cheesecake or apple pie Snow White cupcake) around the parks and resorts lately, so we just had to stop by the Poly to check this one out.
Welcome to Princess Week from Disney World, friends! And, as part of Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration, it’s ALL about celebrating our favorite heroines!
Of course, that means we’re taking you with us to take a look at the new things in the park like EPCOT’s Tiana playground and princess merchandise fit for royalty. But, most importantly, we’re eating LOTS of princess snacks all around the parks!
Hello, DFB Readers!
What a week we’ve had at Disney World! We’ve been trying to make sense of Disney Genie (and we hope we’ve helped you make sense of it, too). We’ve been checking out all the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival booths that have opened early. We’ve been to some restaurant reopenings, too! But we’ve also been to the resorts to see what’s new!
There are few Disney World treats as beloved as Dole Whip.
Yes, we’ll admit, we’re obsessed with this frozen fruity snack, but it is ICONIC for a reason! There are endless possibilities when it comes to Dole Whip combinations — we’ve tried Coconut Raspberry, Lemon Lime, Pineapple Coconut, and SO many more! But today, we found something that will make fans of spice VERY happy.
If you’ve taking a trip around the Magic Kingdom Resort Monorail loop recently, you have probably noticed that you currently cannot get on or off at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
The resort, which has gone through extensive renovations along with a re-theming of their guest rooms inspired by Moana, has had no working Monorail station for several months now as the station undergoes some renovations.
