We last checked in at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort when it reopened last month and now we’re back to see a few updates in food and construction!
The holidays are in FULL swing at Walt Disney World, and it’s not just the theme parks that get all decked out in their festive best, the resorts get lots of love too!

Because we love Disney decor, treats, and experiences ANYWHERE, we took a cruise around Disney World’s monorail loop to stop by the Contemporary Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the Polynesian Village Resort to see what’s new!

Holiday Cavalcades
We’ve got holiday cavalcades in each park, TONS of delicious seasonal snacks, decorations in the resorts and parks, and we even have loads of seasonal fun in Disney Springs! Even though this year is different than what we’ve experienced in the past, we’re still loving it. And now, select guests will be able to get a taste of what things were like before with a socially-distanced meet and greet with Santa Claus!

A few days ago we saw the giant tree go up in the lobby and other holiday decor all over the resort. And while there may not be any huge gingerbread displays this year, we found a pretty adorable substitute!

Disney decorates the parks and resorts to make us feel warm, cozy, holly, and jolly — all at the same time! So far this holiday season, we’ve seen decor pop up at a number of resorts — Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and several others. Now we can add two more resorts to the list because the halls are decked at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort!

During the IAAPA Expo presentation this morning, Josh D’Amaro, the current Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, shared a look at one of the guest rooms coming to the Star Wars hotel and it’s totally out of this world!
