Hello to all our DFB friends! It’s a lovely day for a walk around EPCOT, isn’t it?
We have found LOADS of new stuff, so let’s dive right in! [Read more…]
When Disney World reopened, many of its bars remained closed due to a Florida ban on establishments that made 50% or more of their sales on alcohol.
Florida recently lifted that ban, allowing bars to reopen at 50% capacity, as well as allowing them to serve glasses of alcohol and beer. And now we’re starting to see some Disney World bars reopening, too!
After Disney World reopened, many of its bars remained closed and were unable to serve alcohol to guests, due to a statewide ban of on-premise alcohol consumption at bars. This ban affected any bars that received more than 50% of their gross revenue through alcohol sales.
Recently, though, the state of Florida lifted that ban and allowed bars to reopen at 50% capacity. And we’re starting to see bars at Disney World begin to reopen, too, like the Uzima Springs Pool Bar at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Thirsty River Bar, and Dawa Bar at Animal Kingdom.
Hello, spooky season! Halloween is almost here, and we’re busy checking out all the Halloween decorations at Disney World, buying all the Halloween stuff, and eating all the Halloween snacks.
We’ve also been drinking all the Halloween drinks. Someone has to do it, right?
Since Disney World’s reopening, we’ve started to see more of our favorite food and drink locations (like the Flavors from Fire booth at the Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival) opening back up at Disney World.
And now we can add one more location to the list — the Uzima Springs Pool Bar at Jambo House at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Halloween has crept into Disney World and filled our days in the parks with tricks and treats!
We’ve been picking up goodies like the returning Pumpkin Spice Sundae (😍), Constance’s For Better or For Worse Wedding Cake, and the new Headless Horseman Rides Again Dole Whip! But, you can make double the toil and the trouble with a line-up of spooky sips that will be heading to the Disney Resorts soon too.
It’s one BUSY day in EPCOT because everyone wants a taste of those Food and Wine goodies (us included).
If you want to visit the most booths possible during the festival, EPCOT has specific locations only open on the weekends for guests to visit. While you can head over to Block and Hans or Spain during your Saturday trip to the park, a few NEW spots have popped up in EPCOT today! [Read more…]
The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is all about the great snacks (melty cheese for days), but it’s also an excuse to try as many beer flights as possible in the park.
Since the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, we’ve really been missing those flights since they haven’t been around at the booths. But, GOOD NEWS! We found the one place you’re actually able to get a beer flight during the festival (cue the Hallelujah chorus).
We recently shared a review about Wine Bar George and how it’s practically perfect.
Well, now the restaurant in Disney Springs has just added four more reasons for why you should give the spot a try.
Disney World is a magical place to go on a vacay!
But have you ever explored the spell-binding lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa themed after Disney’s Beauty and the Beast? It’s called Enchanted Rose, and the space itself is very enchanting!
