After months of questions, we FINALLY know what’s coming to Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.
After what felt like an eternity of sitting vacant, big changes are finally coming to some long-abandoned spaces at the popular Deluxe Tier Disney World Resort.
A lot of people look at Dollywood and Disney World and say, “Yeah, they’re both theme parks, so what could be so different about them?” A LOT of things actually!
There are so many differences that if I were to sit here and name them all, we’d be here for a couple of hours. Some things Disney does better, and others Dollywood does better. Luckily, we’re only going to be focusing on ONE thing that Dollywood and Disney World do differently. And this time, it’s Dollywood that has the upper hand.
One of the most convenient things that many Disney World restaurants offer is the Walk-Up Waitlist that lets you use the My Disney Experience app to get on a waitlist to get into a restaurant, even if you don’t have a reservation. In fact, sometimes it’s the best way to get into the popular spots!
Well, two popular Disney World lounges that have been EXTREMELY hard to get reservations for have added the Walk-Up Waitlist option, so it just got easier to visit those lounges. YAY!!
When you work at Disney World, there are certain rules Cast Members have to follow, and some of them may be very surprising.
Some of the rules are obvious — you can’t be on your phone while you’re on stage (unless it’s an emergency, of course), you have to be dressed nicely, you have to be respectful to the people around you, etc. But some things are a little less clear, specifically regarding the shoes you have to wear. Here are the harsh shoe rules Disney World Cast Members must follow.
We go to Disney World every day. Yep, we’re living the dream. A lot of what we do, though, is search for new things, stuff we haven’t seen on previous days. That’s how we keep you updated on everything, after all.
So what kind of things are we looking for? Well, we’re always on the lookout for new merchandise (so you can be on the lookout for those perfect souvenir finds for your next visit), but we also keep an eye on construction and other updates in the parks and at the hotels. Most recently, we visited seven Disney World parks and hotels, and we have a ton of new things to share with you as a result. So let’s get started!
LEVEL99 is NOW OPEN in Disney World’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district, Disney Springs, as of June 29th, 2026!
We’ve had a chance to check out this new spot, and we’ve gotta be honest… we LOVE it! LEVEL99 is an interactive, social entertainment experience with “real-world, challenge-based, social entertainment” for adults, featuring physical and mental challenges set in artistic environments. And we’re not the only ones who love it, either, because LEVEL99 is now open LATER due to high demand!
We recently took a trip to visit Dollywood, and now, this one hotel feature has us begging Disney for an upgrade.

Dollywood!
I wasn’t expecting one of my favorite parts of staying at Dollywood’s Heartsong Lodge & Resort to have absolutely nothing to do with the pool, the food, or even the location. But after spending a few nights there, I came home wondering one thing: why doesn’t every Disney World hotel have this?!
A LOT is going on in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it’s all pretty exciting stuff! Not only did The Muppets take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (and we are LOVING it), but Animation Courtyard is getting a brand new look that will reimagine it into The Walt Disney Studios — and even part of it is now open (and it’s EPIC).
Well, another big happening is that Disney World is building a new Monsters, Inc. land called Monstropolis (appropriately enough) that will include a roller coaster based on the doors scene in the first movie (y’all, we are STOKED), as well as some kind of theatrical show in a building known as the Glob Theater. Well, Disney just filed a permit for the Glob Theater location, showing that this project is moving right along.
If you’re heading to Disney World in the summertime, we’ve got to WARN you.
The weather in Florida in the summertime can be incredibly brutal. With intense UV indexes and high levels of humidity, plus frequent rainstorms, you’re in for a wild and sweaty ride. And this week, Disney World is under a heat advisory.
If you’ve been to Disney’s Animal Kingdom lately, then odds are you’ve visited Bluey’s Wild World. This new section in Animal Kingdom is dedicated to everyone’s favorite Australian Blue Heeler, Bluey, and hosts some Australian kangaroos and wallabies, too!
Jumping Junction, the petting zoo in Bluey’s Wild World, isn’t actually a petting zoo yet. When the land first opened, it wasn’t open because the animals needed to get acclimatized. But when we visited yesterday, Jumping Junction made a massive leap towards opening!
