Christmas Cavalcade
Not only is there a brand new after hours event replacing Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but the famous resort gingerbread displays are returning, AND there will be holidays projections in the parks! Also, Disney released dates for the Festival of the Holidays in EPCOT, but now we’ve got an exciting announcement about the big man himself!
I know EXACTLY what you are thinking. “Why wouldn’t I want to be in Magic Kingdom for the 50th? Are you crazy?!?! I would do anything to be there!”

Change is something that has become synonymous with Disney World over the years and more particularly since the pandemic. The changes with FastPasses+, parades, and extra magic hours had some people wondering if a trip to Disney World during this time was worth it.

Earlier this year Disney announced that “Early Theme Park Entry” would be replacing Extra Magic Hours at Disney World on October 1st. If you are unfamiliar with Extra Magic Hours, they were first implemented to allow guests staying at a Disney Hotel to either gain early access or stay later in the theme parks. “Early Theme Park Entry” allows guests to enter any of the parks 30 minutes early to get a head start on their day in the parks. Since the announcement of Early Theme Park Entry we have all been wondering which Disney Hotels this new benefit would be given at. Restaurants all over Disney World have been reopening, but we’ve also spotted some NEW items at spots that have been open for a while.
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
Recently, 4 NEW burgers (some of which are brand new, others of which are new takes on old classics)Â and a new pasta dish arrived at Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant and they’re fairly pricey. So, we made our way over there today to give them a try and see if they’re worth it. Warning: you may not want to read this review while hungry!

Hello Hollywood!
Here are a few updates of what’s happening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including some changes at restaurants around the park and new merchandise in the shops!
Lots of things have been changing all around Disney World recently — more hotels are reopening, mask rules have changed, and more restaurants are available for guests to enjoy again.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Entrance
We’ve also noted changes made in smaller items around the parks — like in the park maps. Just a few days ago, we noticed some BIG changes had been made on the EPCOT park map, and now we’ve spotted a new map with some changes in Disney’s Hollywood Studios too!
We have been keeping you posted on Tropical Storm Elsa as it works its way closer to Central Flordia. Today, more and more information has been coming out about the nature of the storm and its trajectory and we shared information regarding the tornado and flood watches for the Disney World area.

Disney World also canceled tonight’s showing of EPCOT Forever and modified Happily Ever After. Now, the storm has been upgraded to a hurricane once again. Below we have the latest developments for this storm.

Earlier today, we learned that Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo unveiled new menu items, so we hopped over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try them out for ourselves!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Today, the Flavors of Florida event started in Disney Springs (where you’ll get the chance to grab some new items at a whole bunch of different spots), and the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be starting soon. But now Disney has shared details about some NEW dishes coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
