We have some exciting news from Tokyo Disney Resort!

The reopening of Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea isn’t the only big news coming out of Tokyo Disney Resort this month!
As of today, Disneyland has proposed a plan for reopening!

Several days ago, we reported that signs indicated that Disneyland might reopen in July. And our suspicions were confirmed today when Disneyland proposed a reopening date of July 17th for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure!

While we spotted some amazing new merch here today (including the Pinocchio MagicBand, Lady and the Tramp Windbreaker, and Disney Skyliner Windbreaker!) we’ve been really waiting and hoping for some Regal Eagle Smokehouse and Space 220 eats in our lives! When will all this waiting be over, Disney???Â
As Epcot undergoes its multi-year transformation, some attractions close while others have just re-opened such as the new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along which shares a theater with Impressions de France.

And while we bid fare-thee-well to IllumiNations: Reflections of the Earth last fall and have been pleased with the replacement show Epcot Forever, for the time being, we’re ready for the new fireworks show, Harmonious, to begin!

will end its 20-year run as Epcot’s nighttime spectacular on September 30, 2019.

And newly arrived in Epcot today is a line of “Farewell IllumiNations” merchandise for guests who wish to pick up a souvenir to remember this unique and beautiful fireworks, light, and laser show that has capped off fun days at Epcot since late 1999. [Read more…]

Well, then, we’ve got one more for ya… there is a brand new nighttime spectacular coming to another kingdom at Disney World: namely, the Magic Kingdom! The “Happily Ever After” Nighttime Spectacular is set to make its debut on May 12, replacing the long-running Wishes Nighttime Spectacular! Check out this video about the new show below!
