FIRST Look at the Moana-themed Rooms Coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

In 2020, the opening of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort was delayed as some major construction was announced for the resort.

As part of this construction the hotel is getting a redesigned entryway, changes are being made to the hotel’s monorail station, AND the hotel rooms are getting a Moana-inspired makeover! We’ve already seen Moana taking over the hotel in some ways. But, today we’ve finally gotten a FIRST LOOK at the new Moana-inspired rooms and they are GORGEOUS!

This restaurant reopened not too long ago, and we thought it would be an excellent time to stop by, nosh on some classic bar food, and people-watch on the BoardWalk. It’s been a while since we’ve stopped by and dined here, partly because our last experience was less-than-exciting. Update! Tickets For A Touch of Disney Are Currently SOLD OUT!

It has been quite the day if you were trying to get tickets to Disney California Adventure’s A Touch of Disney event!

After the virtual queue officially opened up this morning, tickets became available but with a VERY long wait. Not too long after the tickets were available, the virtual queue paused and Disney clarified that it was just a technical glitch and tickets were still available.

The Cast Members at the Grand Floridian Bakery are truly artists. We’ve been inspired by some of the work they’ve created, which include chocolate sculptures of Cinderella Castle and the Grand Floridian gingerbread house. They are genuine masters of their craft.
