Summer is in full swing in Disney World, and that means summer crowds have arrived in the parks, too!
With so much to see and do — from brand new attractions and restaurants to exciting new shows premiering — you might be thinking about planning a trip to the parks as well. Disney World is constantly changing, and it’s important to stay updated on everything going on so you can be prepared for your visit. We’ve rounded up the biggest Disney World construction updates from this week so you can know before you go.

You can shop for merch, eat delicious food, watch fun shows, go on exciting scavenger hunts, and meet some of your favorite characters. But, let’s face it — the rides are a BIG deal in the parks, which is why you see those high wait times! With summer here, that usually means big crowds, so let’s check out how bad the wait times were this past week in Disney World.
When it comes to great dining, it’s hard to beat EPCOT.
Where else can you eat around the world without even leaving the park? Want Canadian-inspired food? Visit Le Cellier. Craving crepes? Head to La Crêperie de Paris in France. Morrocan? Spice Road Table is serving up delicious dishes in Morroco. If it’s classic British food, though, you’ll want to dine at Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room in the U.K. However, you may not be able to dine there soon!

Slowly but surely, Disney World has been resuming normal operations for its parks and resorts after the pandemic-related closures.
Even though it has been quite some time since the parks reopened, not everything has returned back to normal. Despite reopening most merchandise locations, attractions, and all of the resorts, there are still quite a few things that still remain closed. And today, we’re looking at the Disney World restaurants you didn’t realize were STILL closed!

We just saw the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction launch into action, and now we’re seeing more progress on the construction of Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, as well as preparations for the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. And with so much going on, we popped into EPCOT to bring you the latest updates!
