As Disney Springs gets ready to begin its gradual reopening next week, we’ve just confirmed another restaurant will be reopening soon.
Planet Hollywood
We’re adding Planet Hollywood to our list of Disney Springs restaurants that will be reopening on May 20th.
Disney Springs is gearing up for a phased re-opening beginning May 20th.
Frontera Cocina
Although Disney-owned stores and restaurants do not plan to open until the following week, several locations will be opening on May 20th — followed by others on May 22nd. But now, there is one more restaurant joining the list kicking off the grand re-opening.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is almost synonymous with Disney World itself. As one of the original two hotels on property, this resort has stood the test of time and to this day remains one of the most popular resort hotels, despite the plethora of accommodations for guests to choose from.

One of the reasons so many people flock to the Poly is the FOOD! From quick-service snacks to a dinner show and knock-your-socks-off drinks the Polynesian offers some of the best-themed dining experiences at any Walt Disney World hotel.

Jaleo
Today, a representative from Jaleo by José Andrés told us they are currently formulating a plan for their tentative reopening which is “still to be determined.”
Experts might know their way around Disney World a little better than your average park guest, but that doesn’t mean they don’t run into their fair share of problems!

Yesterday we shared that custodial Disney Cast Members have been called back to work at Disney Springs since the location will begin partially reopening on May 20th. We have also been able to confirm a few of the restaurants that will be reopening on May 20th.
