Rides get evacuated, animatronics malfunction, and even the weather can act up. And recently, we’ve been keeping an eye on an incident taking place at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

Whether we spot a rare character in the parks or see familiar friends in new costumes, it makes our day getting to smile and wave at our pals. And today, we found some classic characters at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!
Is there a place in Disney World that’s not going under construction right now? 😂 It feels like everywhere we turn, there’s either a refurbishment or an entire transformation happening around the parks and resorts.
Contemporary Resort Construction
Disney’s Contemporary Resort is already getting a few updates of its own right now as The Wave is closed for refurbishment, and the room refurbishment continues onward.
Spots are continuing to reopen all around Disney World!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Recently, Festival of the Lion King in Disney’s Animal Kingdom resumed shows, and we’re looking forward to Disney’s Beach Club Resort reopening at the end of the month. And elsewhere on property, a poolside restaurant is BACK!
You’ve probably heard that Disney World will be getting its very own IMMERSIVE Star Wars Hotel!

We’ve slowly but surely been learning tidbits about Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. The delayed opening was recently announced, the hotel will feature a new kind of lightsaber, and there will be a pretty cool featured dining experience onboard. Now, we know a little more about the current behind-the-scenes progress on the upcoming offering!

You can really see the evidence in the artwork around the resort, and today we’re sharing some tidbits that you probably didn’t know about a rather famous Disney mural.

And, we’ve got our floral Minnie Ears in tote because we’re heading to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to try a NEW dessert that will make you feel like you’re kicking back on the beach!

While we’re trying out all the Mother’s Day treats like a cupcake with solid fashion advice, a cupcake having a bad day, and a cupcake with an identity crisis, we’re popping over to the resorts for ANOTHER snack (we do the hard work so you don’t have to!).
