Disney Files NEW Permit for Changes at DINOSAUR Ride in Animal Kingdom

Disney is wasting no time transforming DinoLand U.S.A. into the new Tropical Americas-themed Pueblo Esperanza land at Animal Kingdom.

While we’ve said goodbye to part of this land already, much of it is still open, including Restaurantosaurus and the DINOSAUR attraction. Imagineering recently filed new permits for Restaurantosaurus and a meet-and-greet location, and now, another new permit has been filed — this time, for DINOSAUR. As the resident DFB permit expert, things are seriously starting to ramp up over here!

NEWS: Two NEW Permits Filed For DinoLand U.S.A. Retheme in Animal Kingdom

Two new permits have been filed for major changes coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Currently, DinoLand U.S.A. is being transformed in stages into a new land called Pueblo Esperanza. These two new permits are associated with the former meet-and-greet location and the land’s current quick-service dining spot.

We finally got LOADS of new details about the Cars expansion coming to Frontierland, including that it will be called Piston Peak, and that it will introduce some new characters into the Cars universe (now if only Disney would drop some hints about what kind of FOOD this expansion will have — we have questions!). Not only did Gideon’s Bakehouse announce a new menu, BUT we got eight new food and drinks at Disney’s Pop Century Resort (and yes, be looking for those reviews coming soon). This week marked the start of the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, so we’ve been a little obsessed with checking out everything you can see and do at the festival, as well as EVERYTHING you can eat.
