We love running into Disney characters!

Whether we spot a rare character in the parks or see familiar friends in new costumes, it makes our day getting to smile and wave at our pals. And today, we found some classic characters at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!
When it comes to ALL of the hotels at the Walt Disney World resort, the ones in the Magic Kingdom area (especially those on the monorail loop) are among the most famous and most beloved!

Families have been staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for decades, and they’ve come to know and love them as-is.

In the early evening last Friday Disney announced a MAJOR change to their mask rules. Over the past few days, we’ve also seen changes made to social distancing, the early phasing out of temperature checks, the reopening of several restaurants, and more big news. As hotels like Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn prepare to reopen, others like Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort are undergoing refurbishment. And now, over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, some BIG changes are underway.
How is it May already? Like we swear it was just Christmas like yesterday! But the year is flying by, and we’ve seen SO many changes with Disney World restaurants recently!

We’ve spent a little time wandering around Disney World’s resorts to see what’s been going on since we were there last. So let’s get on with some updates, shall we?
It’s been almost a year since Disney World reopened, and a LOT has changed since then!
Check-in Parking Sign
Many hotels have reopened or have reopening dates, more restaurants have reopened, and we even have an opening date for some upcoming attractions. Now, a big parking perk that has been absent since July is coming back to some Disney World resorts!
It’s normal to be biased when it comes to favorite hotels in Disney World, and that’s because Disney World has a hotel for just about any preference!

But when it comes to deluxe resorts, it seems we’re even pickier — we have solid opinions on which are our favorites, and sometimes, we just can’t agree! And that’s okay! So we decided to ask you, our readers, how your rated Disney World’s deluxe hotels! And your answers surprised us!

Time for a Trip to the Grand Floridian!
