We attended and shared TONS of big news from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2026, including more details about all the new stuff coming to Disney World and Disneyland.

We were invited by Disney to attend a media preview the day before the convention officially kicked off (it ran from August 14th through the 16th at the Anaheim Convention Center in California and the nearby Honda Center), and we got a sneak peek of a TON of different new things coming to the streaming platforms, movie theaters, and the Disney Parks. In fact, Disney gave us NEW looks at the new Cars expansion — Piston Peak — that’s currently being built in Magic Kingdom, and we’re sharing all those new details with you!

This Is The Weirdest Restaurant Disney Could Ever Make and I’m Begging Them To Do It

Disney World has already asked us to eat dinner inside a castle, board an elevator to a restaurant in space, and consume burgers while sitting in a fake convertible beneath a fake night sky. So I don’t think I’m being unreasonable when I ask Disney to let me eat breakfast with a tow truck.

Piston Peak National Park is currently under construction in Magic Kingdom, and the new Cars-themed area is shaping up to be one of the park’s most ambitious additions. Disney has shared concept art filled with towering mountains, rushing water, pine forests, geysers, and rustic buildings tucked into the landscape. It looks beautiful. It looks enormous. It also looks like it has room for the weirdest character restaurant Disney has ever attempted. A Cars character dining experience makes absolutely no logistical sense, which is exactly why Disney needs to make it happen.

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is coming up THIS week, and that means we are ready to celebrate all things Disney with Disney and other Disney fans. This event is jam-packed with SO much to see and do, including a LOT of shopping, as well as a ton of booths, exhibits, celebrity appearances, and panels.

Halloween season has officially arrived in Disney World, and we’ve been to the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the year. We got to check out everything the party offers, including special entertainment, special food, and trick-or-treating.

Boo-To-You! We just spent an evening in Magic Kingdom at the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and we’re still feeling all the spookiness and not-so-scariness of the evening.

We trick-or-treated, we got a kick out of some fun costumes, we saw a parade and witnessed some EPIC creepy fireworks. But more importantly, we ate and drank some exclusive party snacks and drinks. Forget Everything We’ve Told You In The Past About Trick-Or-Treating at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Well, we managed to go to the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the year, and it was an EXPERIENCE. We saw and did everything we could do: we checked out all the cool merchandise, we watched the parade and the fireworks, and we ate a ton of party-exclusive snacks.

We also did a lot of trick-or-treating because if you’re going to pay for a ticket for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you might as well get all the free candy you can, right? However, we noticed an interesting trend with trick-or-treating this year that we wanted to share.
