The popular gondola system, which links EPCOT and Hollywood Studios with several Walt Disney World hotels, will be down for its annual maintenance refurbishment from January 25th through January 31st, 2026.

Disney World is currently undergoing significant changes. Construction is well underway for multiple new lands, including Piston Peak National Park in Magic Kingdom, Pueblo Esperanza in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and a Monsters, Inc. land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. To make way for these new lands, numerous areas in Disney World have been closed, and Disney is also working on refurbishments and upkeep.
