It’s hard to believe the holiday season is almost over, and 2022 is right around the corner. We’re looking forward to seeing some fun New Year’s treats, as well as welcoming a New Year at Disney World. But that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped monitoring menu changes at Disney World restaurants, so here’s what’s changed this week.

It’s when we stuff our faces full of holiday treats, visit the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, and buy a ton of Disney holiday merchandise. But while we’re having all this festive fun, we’re also keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus to see what’s changed.
Disney World’s theme parks aren’t the only places to go for holiday treats! While we enjoyed some returning sweets today like the deliciously spiced Menagerie Cupcake at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we also checked out the resort hotels to see what festive snacks they had this season!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, we found a pair of treats at The Mara that may be worth going out of your way to try (while you’re there, check out their gorgeous tree in the lobby and say hi to some of their animals!).
One of the most wonderful things about going to Disney World is the food — yeah, we’re biased, but that’s what we do!

And when folks in the know think food in Disney World, chances are their thoughts drift to EPCOT. It’s basically a magical, wonderful place for food from around the WORLD — you can have lunch in Italy, a drink in Mexico, a snack in France, and dinner in Germany! But did you know that you can eat around the world at other parts of Disney World without ever stepping foot into EPCOT?
It’s official! Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration has kicked off!

Not only have we been in all four theme parks today, but we’ve visited the resorts to see how they are getting in on the celebrations! A good amount of Disney World’s long list of 50th anniversary treats are at the resorts, so let’s check out one of the sweet treats at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

It’s made of Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava juices all mixed together to create a delicious, fruity drink. We usually find POG Juice (sometimes also referred to as Jungle Juice or potentially by other names) in places like Dawa Bar and Tusker House Restaurant in Animal Kingdom and ‘Ohana and Kona Café in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. But lately, we’ve been seeing some things with POG Juice have been changing! And many readers have been reaching out with concerns! So what’s really going on with this delicious drink?

While the Disney World parks have been reopened for almost a year, some restaurants around the Resort are still temporarily closed. One restaurant that still has yet to reopen is Boma at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
