The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will take place on February 24th-27th in 2022, with races themed to Mulan, Cinderella, Moana, and Tiana. Recently, Disney shared a FIRST LOOK at the medals racers will be able to snag and, because this marathon will take place during Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, the runDisney medals will shine with an EARidescent shimmer. Let’s take a look!

The park opened on October 1st, 1982 and has had a very storied history. EPCOT has evolved greatly over time, with many of the original attractions now gone, and the park currently undergoing a huge transformation. While some Disney fans think Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is one of the best-themed lands in all of Disney World, others think that World Showcase is completely underrated by EPCOT guests. And some guests love the charm of Fantasyland, while others prefer the bioluminescent details of Pandora. No matter how you cut it, though, Disney fans think some lands are overrated, while others aren’t. So we asked you, our DFB readers, about the lands at Disney World! The United Kingdom Pavilion in EPCOT features delicious food like fish and chips from the Yorkshire County Fish Shop and delicious British fare at the Rose & Crown Dining Room.

But, you can also do some shopping at the UK pavilion and pick up some tea or other items. For quite some time now, the shopping in the UK pavilion has been fairly limited as some of the stores remained temporarily closed post the pandemic closures and reopening. But, now another spot as reopened!

So while we’ve been eating our way around all the 50th celebration snacks AND the Halloween snacks, we’ve also been keeping an eye on restaurant menus at Disney World. And although there aren’t a LOT of updates this week, we’ve still got a few.

Not only will the parks be sporting their holiday decorations (one park got started a little early!), but you’ll also have the opportunity to get tickets to Mickey’s Very Merriest After Hours, indulge in food and fun at the EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, and shop for holiday merchandise.
