Uhm what?
This Disney World holiday announcement is one we’re not too sure about. It’s certainly the end of an era as we say goodbye to one of our favorite parts of the holiday season.
Listen, guys, it’s literally our JOB to eat snacks in Disney World. And yes, that means we’ve probably eaten a lifetime’s worth of DOLE Whip.
We’ve tried EVERY SINGLE DOLE Whip flavor in Disney World, and we have some strong opinions about them. Since this is probably one of the most popular snacks across property (if not the most popular one), we’ve decided to share our rankings. Go forth and enjoy some soft serve, folks!
The pieces are coming together for the NEW pool opening in Disney World next year!
Walt Disney World’s Lakeshore Lodge is a brand-new Disney Vacation Club hotel that’s scheduled to open in 2027! According to Disney, the new hotel’s theme will “celebrate the beauty and magic of nature as seen through the eyes of Disney artists and storytellers.” And while we’ve spotted tons of cool details in the hotel concept art, one of the features we’re the most excited to experience for ourselves is the POOL!
Disney World dining is already pretty incredible, but there’s a whole tier of restaurants that take things to a completely different level, literally.
Rooftop dining at Disney World gives you stunning views, elevated menus, and an atmosphere you simply can’t get anywhere else on property. Whether you’re celebrating something big or just want to treat yourself to a night you won’t forget, these four spots deliver in a major way. Here’s a look at the rooftop restaurants hiding inside Disney World hotels that absolutely deserve a spot on your dining radar.
There are a few Disney World reservations that make people act like they’re trying to buy Taylor Swift tickets from inside a moving elevator. Beaches & Cream is one of them. And look, we get it. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort has the whole package: burgers, grilled cheese and tomato soup, milkshakes, sundaes, retro soda fountain charm, and enough nostalgia to make your vacation budget briefly feel less frightening. It’s cute. It’s convenient. It has the Kitchen Sink. People love it.
But here’s the problem: Beaches & Cream is small, popular, and not always easy to book. So what do you do when you can’t get that reservation? Do you dramatically collapse onto your My Disney Experience app? Do you start whispering “No Way José” into the void? Do you settle for whatever random snack is closest and pretend you weren’t emotionally committed to a milkshake?
Part of the perks of staying on-property at Disney World are the fun hotel activities!
When you think of Disney World hotels, you probably picture themed rooms, amazing pools, and easy transportation to the parks—and you’re not wrong. Whether you’re staying at a Value, Moderate, or Deluxe Resort, Disney hotels are packed with little perks and hidden gems that go way beyond just being a place to rest your tired legs after a long day at the parks. From Movies Under the Stars to fun-filled pool parties and surprise character sightings, there’s always something extra to do. But what if we told you that you are missing out on extending your vacation for just $25?
Yes, we’ve been busy at Universal Kids Resort this week, but we’ve also been in Disney World learning about a new lounge, shop, and restaurant coming to Disney’s BoardWalk, as well as discovered a new favorite meal in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
We also noticed some changes happening at Disney World restaurants this week, so we’re going to give you all the latest updates.
The newest film in the Toy Story franchise, Toy Story 5, released in theaters on June 19th, and Disney is celebrating in big ways!
The film is a big reason you can celebrate Cool KIDS’ SUMMER in Disney World with the Jessie’s Roundup in Magic Kingdom, as well as check out a special Toy Story 5 photo op in Disney California Adventure, but there’s way more where that came from. If you’re heading to Disneyland Resort soon and staying on property, there’s a new perk coming to the hotel pools you won’t want to miss!
While there wasn’t much news from inside the actual Disney World parks this past week, we did get TONS of news that will soon affect Disney Springs and Disney’s BoardWalk.
For months now, there have been empty buildings over at the BoardWalk, and while there have been permits filed, there has been no official announcement as to what is on the way. Until now, that is, because this past week, Disney revealed exactly what’s coming to the BoardWalk, and we also got some exciting updates about Disney Springs projects in the works!
We don’t want to sound too dramatic, but things are not going very well at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge right now!

Wilderness Lodge
This is one of the most popular hotels at Disney World. It has a cabin-like feel to it, almost as if you’re on a camping retreat at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Although the resort is not feeling very magical right now.
