A popular Disney World attraction has finally reopened!
We have been eagerly awaiting the reopening of this Magic Kingdom ride, and now it’s BACK!
Believe it or not, the 2025 edition of EPCOT’s premier event — the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is just about two months away, and we’re feeling…anxious.
As always, the 2025 Food and Wine Festival — which is scheduled to run from August 28th through November 22nd — will be a “culinary adventure across 6 different continents.” However, as stoked as we are for the festival — and the FOOD — some elements have us a bit worried.
We’ve got big news out of EPCOT, and we have a feeling a lot of you won’t exactly be happy about it.
Test Track is getting ready to reopen VERY SOON, but we just found out that ANOTHER ride change will be coming to EPCOT at the end of the summer. If you’re a big fan of Spaceship Earth, you need to know that it’s temporarily closing at the end of summer.
So you’re rolling into EPCOT with a stroller, thinking you’ve got this whole day mapped out — and then you hit the Mexico Pavilion and everything falls apart.
There’s a weird, very specific rule at this World Showcase stop that throws off a lot of guests. It’s one of those “I wouldn’t have known this unless someone told me” kind of situations. If you’re planning to meet Donald Duck or take your kids on the Gran Fiesta Tour, this is the stroller warning you’ll be glad you got.
Well, it’s finally happened.
In June 2024, Test Track closed in EPCOT to make way for a reimagined version of the ride. Now, it’s STILL going to be called Test Track, but Disney promised the ride would be a lot different. Well, the new version of Test Track is HERE and we got to ride via an early preview ahead of its reopening …and let’s just say we have some thoughts.
Is it just us, or is EVERYTHING under construction in Disney World? Okay, that’s a bit of an overstatement, but seriously, a lot is going on right now.
In EPCOT, Test Track is getting ready to reopen after an extended closure and retheming. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is getting an overhaul in Magic Kingdom, while Frontierland is getting a Cars expansion. PLUS, that park is getting a new Villains Land. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is in the progress of creating a new Monsters, Inc. land and converting Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster into a Muppets ride. In the meantime, Disney also just announced that two popular rides will soon be temporarily closing.
EPCOT is changing the outfit game at Disney World!
While we often recommend dressing comfy for a park day at EPCOT, there are some notable exceptions. Believe it or not, dress codes ARE a thing at some Disney World locations and events, and they can totally change how you go about a park day — especially at EPCOT. The park’s latest upscale dining offering doesn’t require a dress code, but that isn’t stopping Disney Adults from participating in a new trend.
Drinking Around the World at EPCOT in Disney World is no small feat — both physically and monetarily.
Over the years, we’ve modified our guide to be up-to-date on the latest Drinking Around the World tips. Still, one fact remains constant — Drinking Around the World will cost you a pretty penny. With prices constantly going up at Disney World, it’s only going to keep getting more expensive. With that in mind, we’re taking a closer look at how expensive Drinking Around the World actually is, so you can consider if it’s something you want to pursue the next time you find yourself at EPCOT.
The 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is almost here, and Disney fans everywhere are already planning their return to the park’s most mouthwatering event of the year.

2024 Food and Wine Festival
This year’s festival runs August 28th through November 22nd. From international marketplaces to the culinary options and exclusive merch drops, this festival transforms EPCOT into a paradise for food lovers and Disney die-hards alike. Whether you’re a seasoned EPCOT foodie or a first-time visitor, this year’s event promises new flavors, fan-favorite dishes, and a few surprises that are sure to make it unforgettable. But there’s one rule we are encouraging people to follow this year.
One of our most beloved eats at EPCOT is GONE!
If you were to stop and ask us where the BEST Disney World entree that doubles as a snack could be found in the entire park, we’d likely come back with a response that included the Pepperoni Pizza Roll from Sunshine Seasons. However, Disney World’s been on a mission lately to really shake things up with its menus, and it seems that this latest change has claimed a snack casualty that we won’t soon get over.
