Extra Magic Hours haven’t been available at Disney World since the reopening last July. Disney recently announced new perks for hotel guests that aren’t quite the same as Extra Magic Hours but do allow guests more time in the parks.Â
Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom
Hotel guests on Disney property are able to get Early Theme Park Entry to all 4 parks starting on October 1st. This includes guests at every Disney-owned hotel on property as well as Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels, Disney World’s on-property military hotel, and other local hotels. We have a full list of all the hotels eligible for Early Theme Park Entry here.Â
However, ONLY guests at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resorts will have access to Extended Evening Hours. But the big question: would YOU be willing to shell out Deluxe resort prices for this perk? Here’s what our readers said!

Change is something that has become synonymous with Disney World over the years and more particularly since the pandemic. The changes with FastPasses+, parades, and extra magic hours had some people wondering if a trip to Disney World during this time was worth it.

Earlier this year Disney announced that “Early Theme Park Entry” would be replacing Extra Magic Hours at Disney World on October 1st. If you are unfamiliar with Extra Magic Hours, they were first implemented to allow guests staying at a Disney Hotel to either gain early access or stay later in the theme parks. “Early Theme Park Entry” allows guests to enter any of the parks 30 minutes early to get a head start on their day in the parks. Since the announcement of Early Theme Park Entry we have all been wondering which Disney Hotels this new benefit would be given at. There is a new fireworks show and projections coming to Magic Kingdom, a new daytime show coming to Animal Kingdom, the debut of Harmonious in EPCOT, golden character statues will be going up around the parks, and we’re FINALLY getting the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! Disney recently announced that they will be offering extended evening theme park hours for select guests for the big anniversary, and we’re here to tell you which guests will get the new perk!
