Wow, can you believe it’s already April?
So much has happened at Disney World since the beginning of the year as things begin to return to normal at the resort. We’ve had some good news about the return of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review, the Festival of Fantasy parade has already returned, Fantasmic! will reopen sometime this year, ALL of Disney World’s hotels have reopened, and most of Disney World’s restaurants have reopened or have reopening dates. We’re also still seeing a lot of menu updates at Disney World restaurants!

Disney World hotels are almost like theme parks themselves — they have a ton of activities, entertainment, great food, and shopping! That’s why we visit the hotels often to check and see what’s new at each one. So let’s get on with the updates.

We’re experiencing everything Disney has to offer for St. Patrick’s Day, and who could forget the 2022 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival?! But today, we spotted ANOTHER springtime surprise that is brand new this year — let’s check it out!
Disney World has been slowly returning to normal lately! The beloved Festival of Fantasy parade recently returned to the Magic Kingdom, and character meet and greets are expected to come back soon, too! Not only that, but Disney has been relaxing its health and safety guidelines in the parks and resorts.

That said, there are still some experiences and restaurants that have not reopened in Disney World. We’re still waiting for Fantasmic! to return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and dinner shows like The Spirit of Aloha and the Hoop Dee Doo Revue are still on pause. The good news is that Disney just announced that another restaurant is reopening in Disney World SOON! Let’s take a look!

As much as we love the Grand Floridian Resort, it was time for a little update. Recently, Disney started construction at one of Disney’s most popular Deluxe hotels, with plans to add 200 NEW DVC rooms to the resort. We’ve been keeping our eyes out for updates, and now we’ve got an important update to share about the new rooms coming to the Grand Floridian Resort.

As if the Deluxe Disney World hotels aren’t fancy enough, 200 NEW rooms have been added to one of the most luxurious resorts in Disney World.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort just got new Resort Studios, which are DVC rooms located in the Big Pine Key building of the hotel. Construction on these studios began on March 1st, and the rooms officially opened on June 20th!
