Oh, Disney World restaurants — how we miss you!
While you know our affinity for spots like Wine Bar George (thank goodness the flaming cheese is back) and Garden Grill, there are a few restaurants around the parks we are missing more than we thought we would!
While we have been on the ground over the past several weeks covering the ongoing phased reopening of eateries and shops in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs, we have some very recent closures to report as well.
Earlier today, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation announced that on-premise consumption at bars or businesses that “derive more than 50 percent of gross revenue from the sale of alcoholic beverages” is now banned in Florida, effective immediately. [Read more…]
In light of recent events, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has announced a statewide ban of on-premises alcohol consumption at bars, effective immediately.
Since we’re currently at Disney Springs, we’ve been able to speak with a few Cast Members to see what implications this order has on Disney World.
Update: ON June 26th, Due to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation banning the consumption of alcohol at bars, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar was closed. However, the location was able to reopen on July 6th.
Since Disney Springs began its phased reopening back in May, we’ve been eating our way around the newly reopened restaurants. And Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar has now joined the list of locations that have welcomed back guests!
We’ve already had the chance to check out fan-favorite spots like Morimoto Asia, The Polite Pig, The Boathouse, and more. And with awesome theming, fun specialty drinks, and inventive appetizers, we were eager to see how Jock Lindsey’s stacks up!
