We’re BACK with another roundup of What’s New at Epcot!
Today we’ll cover allll the construction updates, adorable new merchandise, and so much more. Let’s get started!
If you’ve purchased (or acquired free!) the Disney Dining Plan for your next Walt Disney World vacation, you’re probably wondering how to maximize the Plan, getting the best and most satisfying food for your DDP dollar. The value of a Quick Service meal includes the cost, of course, but also the quality of the food and other variables like how it can save you credits, cash, time, or stress. We take all of those bits into consideration when we bring you our recommendations for DDP Quick Service values.
Just in time, we’re here to bring you the best kind of news: Epcot MARGARITA news!
Between La Cantina de San Angel and Choza de Margarita in Epcot‘s World Showcase, we’ve got new margaritas and menu changes to tell you about. Let’s dive in!
We had a case of wanderlust this week, and instead of getting out the passport and packing, we just hopped over to spend the day in Epcot. Our journey started with some time spent in Future World, followed by a trip around the World Showcase. And boy, did we find a lot new eats and buys for you on this “trip”!
Hello, friends! We’re back with another DFB Video today, and we would love it if you would join us on a Food Tour of Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion!
Now, you likely already know about our love for La Cava del Tequila… and we’ll definitely be hitting it up in our video today! But we’re also talking about some other spots… like where you can score some delicious Mexican candy and chocolates, and a couple of primo places where you can watch the IllumiNations spectacular while enjoying some terrific eats. We’ll also fill you in on a place you might want to skip when you’re planning what you want to NOSH ON or NOT in Epcot’s Mexico! [Read more…]

HAPPY OCTOBER!!! Milder temps have returned to Walt Disney World where we’re checking out What’s New in all four parks, Disney Springs, and a few of our favorite Resorts. AND it’s still high time for Pumpkin Spice, Candy Corn, and All Things Autumn.
Sooo… what are YOU going to be for Halloween? [Read more…]
Happy Sunday! We hope you’re having a wonderful last weekend in June! We can’t believe that July is just around the corner!
Of course, this just means we’re getting MUCH closer to the 2016 Epcot Food & Wine Festival and after that, the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort!
We have a lot to share with you this week, so let’s jump right in…
The biggest news around Epcot’s World Showcase is the debut of TWO new Frozen-themed attractions in the Norway Pavilion.
On June 21st, Frozen Ever After (the Pavilion’s brand new dark ride) and the Royal Sommerhus Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet location made their official debut!
So, what are we doing at La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion instead? Well, Mexico is the next door neighbor to the Norway Pavilion in World Showcase. And to say that crowd levels have increased in the area might just be the understatement of the century. With so many guests arriving in the early morning hours thanks to the updated 9:00 am opening of the Norway Pavilion, expanded food options are also a new necessity in the vicinity.
Norway’s Counter Service option, Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, is also now open at 9:00 am. (School Bread for breakfast?! YES, please!!) And there are a few new additions there that we will check out in an upcoming post.
But since the offerings at La Cantina are all new, we made our pit stop here before taking on THIS wait time (yes, and then some!) for Disney World’s newest attraction.
Back to that later… we’ve got some eating to do first! [Read more…]

Happy Fall! Autumnal treats have been appearing all over Disney World for a while now, but with Halloween just days away, we thought we’d give you one last glimpse of the season’s snacks.
But that’s not the only food news ’round these parts… not by a long shot. Take a trip with us around all four Disney World parks to check out What’s New!
October is probably my favorite time for the candy apples that hit the scene, like these at Sweet Spells.
Min & Bill’s Dockside Diner currently features a Caramel Apple Shake as its tribute to fall. The featured shakes here change frequently, so be sure to pop by to see what’s available on your visit!
Joffrey’s Coffee Carts all over Disney World have changed their seasonal offerings to include a Pumpkin Pie Latte and a Pumpkin Pie Frozen Cappuccino.
Speaking of those Joffrey’s Carts… remember the Big ‘Ol Donut? We spotted a few topped with massive amounts of cookie crumble for a change [Read more…]

Happy NATIONAL MOJITO DAY, EVERYONE!! OK, I’ll be honest. We’d PLANNED to share this post with you on the ACTUAL National Mojito Day, but a big news item came up and we had to bump it. So this is our STAND-IN National Mojito Day. I hope that works for you. 😀
Still, crazy how time flies, isn’t it? I remember last Mojito Day like it was yesterday! It feels like I was just putting up my Mojito Tree, baking mojito cookies and singing all my favorite mojito carols…
Oh, wait, was that just me?
Anyway, on this day as we gather with family and friends to celebrate Mojitos all around the world ;), we thought we’d show you a mojito in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion that has more than a bit of a twist… the Pomegranate Lime Frozen Mojito found at La Cantina de San Angel.
The drink serving is huge – it fills every inch of the glass and beyond, as you can see. (At $11.50, I should hope so.) As a bonus, it’s also looks terrific!
A traditional Mojito is a mix of fresh mint, lime, club soda, sugar, and white rum on the rocks. The Pomegranate Lime Frozen Mojito has… well, it’s got lime 🙂 . And pomegranate!
Tequila – as opposed to rum – is the featured liquor here, and I can’t say I picked up one hint of mint. What I did pick up on was a refreshing blast of cold, fruity sweetness nicely balanced by the tart lime.
For all my joking about Mojito Day traditions, I’m actually not a huge mojito fan myself, so this version is far more up my alley.
You know what goes well with a tart-and-sweet beverage like this? Something
