A prophecy told us that a tasty treat is in our future.Â
We’re not talking about the Halloween snacks around Disney World — we’re talking about something we shouldn’t talk about. That’s right…we’re talking about Bruno.Â
Well, it’s been a WEEK!
So much is going on right now. We had the first Oogie Boogie Bash in Disneyland, we celebrated Disney+ Day in the parks, and we’re getting ready for a TON of announcements from the D23 Expo this weekend! But we’re still thinking about FOOD, which means we’re keeping an eye on Disney World restaurants to see if anything has changed.
If you haven’t been paying close attention to the latest Disney news, you’ve got a LOT to catch up on!
From restaurant changes and new menu offerings to a Disney version of Amazon Prime (?!) there’s a lot for us to go over. So sit back, grab your favorite drink, and let’s catch up on all the latest Disney news together.
If you’re looking for a tasty brunch spot in Disney World with a relaxed vibe AWAY from the crowds, we’ve got just the place for you to go!
Sure, you could have brunch at the ever-popular Homecomin’ in Disney Springs, or try out the breakfast character meal at Topolino’s Terrace in Disney’s Riviera Resort, but over at Disney’s Old Key West Resort you’ll find a fan-favorite hidden gem — Olivia’s Cafe — and we’re sharing ALL the details about this spot right now.
Menu changes have been affecting all kinds of Disney World restaurants.
From price increases and decreases to menu additions and removals, if you haven’t been keeping up, you might not even realize that your favorite menu item has been altered, disappeared, or changed in price. We recently stopped by Olivia’s Cafe in Disney’s Old Key West Resort to check out their brunch, since that is now an EVERYDAY offering. And while we were there we spotted a BIG menu change.
If you love a good brunch in a relaxing and fun environment, we have some news for you!
There are a number of spots that serve up brunch in Disney World. From the delicious offerings at Homecomin’ in Disney Springs to a Mimosa Flight at Whispering Canyon Cafe, there are plenty of things to try if brunch is your favorite meal of the day. But now we’ve got some EXCITING Disney brunch news!
When it comes to food, we’ve had quite an exciting month.
Not only have we been able to start trying all the Halloween treats in Disney World, but we also got to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. PLUS, we also got try out some princess-themed treats for World Princess week. ALL the food. However, August also brought some changes to Disney World restaurant menus.
Happy Halloween, y’all! Yes, it’s officially Halloween season in Disney World.
We’ve already been diving into all of the delicious Halloween treats, checking out some pumpkin coffee flavors, and eating ALL kinds of stuff at the new BoardWalk Deli, which has officially opened! And we’ve been keeping an eye on Disney World restaurants to see what’s been changed or updated.Â
We’re always on a mission to find the best food around Disney World! (We are Disney Food Blog, after all.)
Quick service, table service, fine dining, carts, festival food booths — we’ve tried it all! But what about grabbing a bite outside of the parks? While it may not hold the same Disney magic, you can still get food easily at your hotel — without having to even leave your room. So, to help prepare you for your next trip, here’s everything you need to know about having food delivered to your Disney World Resort Hotel!
If you’re anything like us, when you need a frozen treat in Disney World, you fast-walk (safety first, treats second) to your nearest Dole Whip location.
Fortunately, that isn’t a difficult task, as Disney World has tons of places that offer Dole Whip creations — Aloha Isle, Storybook Treats, Sunshine Tree Terrace, Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, Refreshment Outpost, Tamu Tamu, Swirls on the Water…the list goes on and on. And, in celebration of Dole Whip Day (July 21st), Disney World is offering even more creative Dole Whip treats all around the resort. So today, we tried one at Disney’s Old Key West Resort…but it’s only for adults!
