One of the most magical times on your Disney World vacation is watching one of the incredible nighttime spectaculars like Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom, Fantasmic! in Hollywood Studios, or Luminous — The Symphony of Us at EPCOT. But sometimes that can take a turn!

The nighttime shows can get cancelled, and it happens more than you might think. One of the most common reasons a show might be canceled is the weather. When it’s too windy or lightning is too close to the area, the show will be canceled for the safety of the guests and performers. But there’s another way that a Disney World show can be cancelled, and we bet you didn’t even know it was possible.

I like to report on the shenanigans and nonsense happening in the tiny village in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT, and you’d be surprised by how much shenanigans and nonsense these folks get into! So join me, Madam Mayor, as I take you on a tour of the itty bitty city and see what wild stories we can uncover.
The drinks in EPCOT are SO good that there is literally an activity called “Drinking Around the World” where you basically just grab a drink (alcoholic or otherwise) in each country in EPCOT’s World Showcase. At least every adult has done it…at least once.

Now, we know there’s some controversy on where to start said drinking around the world journey (Mexico vs. Canada, although you can also start in France if you’re entering EPCOT via International Gateway), but whichever way you choose, we’re going to recommend that you make a stop in Japan at a spot you might not even know about, Garden House.
There are a lot of unique things you can do in EPCOT that you can’t do in any other Disney World park. For starters, you can eat, drink, and shop around the World without ever leaving World Showcase. You can also visit an aquarium, go on an out-of-this-world adventure, explore the history of communication, and interact with water. There’s just so much to do!

One of our favorite activities was buying sugar art in the China Pavilion, but that activity went away in 2020. However, it returned last month…but now, well, it’s gone away again! OH NO!!!!
When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options, and that’s especially true if you’re heading into EPCOT! There are dozens of restaurants, a mix of quick service and table service, and so many of them have cuisine from all around the world.

When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options. That’s VERY true over in EPCOT, where you’ve got dozens of restaurants with unique cuisine from all around the world in World Showcase. That’s far from all the restaurants in the park, though, because you’ve also got the spots up at the front of the park.

We recently stopped by Garden Grill for breakfast to see if there’s really a big difference (other than the menu offerings and price) between dining here early in the day vs. for lunch and dinner. A new version of a popular ride is coming to EPCOT, and it’s opening soon!

Soarin’ Across America is set to open in EPCOT on May 26th. This ride pays homage to the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, and it features scenes from across the USA. But before it opens to the public, you may get a chance to preview the ride!
Starbucks has released new tumblers for Disney World and Disneyland, and while we’ve seen them in the parks, you can finally grab them online!
