August is right around the corner, and Disney World is changing rapidly.
There are a number of things that will be different in Disney World in August, so let’s go over everything you need to know if you have an August trip planned!
Disney World is constantly updating rides and hotels around the parks, so we do our best to keep you updated on what’s going to be closed for refurbishments during your trip!
We found all the rides and hotels that are scheduled to be closed in August! If you’re heading to Disney World soon, take a look at this list so that you know what to expect!
If you’re planning a 2021 trip to Disney World right now, you might be running into a few bumps that you weren’t expecting!
Trip planning is stranger than ever because of limited capacity in parks and all the reopenings going on around Disney World! Hotels and restaurants alike are reopening through the summer and later in the year. Oh yeah, and there’s that little 50th Anniversary thing going on in October (and all the crowds and craziness it will bring) to look forward to. 😉 Here’s what you need to know about the BIGGEST problems you’ll run into when planning a 2021 Disney World trip.Â
We can’t even fathom everything that’s happened since last year — 2020 was a crazy year to say the least! Disney World closed and reopened. And we watched as health and safety guidelines went from being prominent at the parks to being phased out.
What a year, right? And there are STILL things at Disney World that haven’t reopened yet, including restaurants AND hotels. But that’s changing, too. Many of our favorite snack spots have reopened, along with many of our favorite restaurants, and we now have official reopening dates for the rest of Disney World’s hotels!
Change is something that has become synonymous with Disney World over the years and more particularly since the COVID-19 pandemic. The changes with FastPasses+, entertainment, and extra magic hours had some people wondering if a trip to Disney World was even worth it anymore.
Speaking of Extra Magic Hours, in 2021, Disney World replaced the hotel perk with Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours. If you are unfamiliar with Extra Magic Hours, they were first implemented to allow guests staying at a Disney Hotel to either gain early access or stay later in the theme parks. The idea is still the same, but a bit simpler with Early Theme Park Entry allowing guests to enter any of the parks 30 minutes early every day to get a head start. But, which hotels have access to this benefit? Well, we have a FULLÂ LIST for you! [Read more…]
It’s really not a secret that one of our favorite parts of Disney World is the food! Every park, hotel, and Disney Springs have some amazing eats and unique restaurants.
But with so many great options and so little time, how do you pick where to eat?? We asked YOU, or readers, on Instagram which Disney World restaurant you’d recommend to a friend if they only had time to eat at ONE. Here’s what you said! [Read more…]
Welcome to Sanaa Lounge, a cozy spot just inside the entrance to the Table Service restaurant Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village!
You might have seen Sanaa Lounge before, either on your way into Sanaa or on one of our reviews — like this one of Jiko’s Bain’s Barrel-Aged African Whiskey! But we’re going in to do a full review of JUST the Lounge and see what eats and drinks we can find there! Let’s get going!
It’s been quite the month in Disney World!

It’s no secret that a trip to Disney World can get expensive.
And we do our best to keep you updated on ways you can save on a Disney World trip when it comes to food, hotels, tickets, and more. But sometimes, you just want a little splurge when you’re on vacation, right? How do you know which splurges are worth the cash and which to pass on?
Disney World is gearing up for its big 50th anniversary celebrations and there are a TON of new things to look forward to!
There is a new fireworks show and projections coming to Magic Kingdom, a new daytime show coming to Animal Kingdom, the debut of Harmonious in EPCOT, golden character statues will be going up around the parks, and we’re FINALLY getting the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!
